T62 TRAINS

Portsmouth has three Network Rail Stations; Portsmouth Harbour (the terminus), Portsmouth and Southsea (near Commercial Road) and Fratton (the nearest to Tudor Rose Court). Trains to and from Portsmouth stop at all three stations. Only the Harbour Station is all on one level.

T63 GOSPORT

The Gosport Ferry foot passenger service runs a continuous shuttle across Portsmouth Harbour from a floating pontoon by Portsmouth Harbour Station.

T65 AIRPORTS

Gatwick: Trains, via Chichester, or via Clapham Junction change at East Croydon

Taxi (about £110 return.) National Express route 203 from the Hard (price variable)

Heathrow: Train via London,  Taxi (about £110 return), by road (70 miles) about 1 ¼ hours.

Southampton: Train (via Southampton Station)  Taxi



T66  ISLE OF WIGHT FERRIES

Hovercraft operated by Hovertravel from Clarence Pier to Ryde IOW. Every 30 minutes, crossing time is 10 minutes.

Vehicles

Wightlink  run a service for vehicles and foot passengers between the Car Ferry Terminal on Gunwharf Road and Fishbourne IOW. The crossing takes 45 minutes.


Foot Passengers

Wightlink also run a high-speed catamaran service from Portsmouth Harbour Station to Ryde. The crossing takes 22 minutes.

T67 INTERNATIONAL FERRIES

Portsmouth International Port , through Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries, operate ferries to France (Caen, Cherbourg, Le Havre and St Malo), The Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey) and Spain (Bilbao and Santander).
